If I were a teacher

In an economic environment full of surprises and uncertainties, to be an effective leader is to be a good teacher. But how to play the role of both leadership and teaching?

1. Keep in mind that the protagonist is not you, but the object of your teaching
Some teachers think that they are specialists in certain fields and their main task is to preach and teach. This is a wrong idea. Excellent teachers, when they are themselves instructors, share what they know and understand that teacher are not the protagonists in the classroom, students are.


2. Observe your students
It's not just about preparing textbooks, it's about knowing who you're teaching, their talents and previous experiences and needs. Otherwise, how can you be sure that they've learned, or what needs to be learned further? Before you can help him achieve his goals, you have to know where this person is and where to start.



3. Recognize that teachers are not omniscient
For some people, when a teacher or a leader represents you, you have to know the answers to all the questions. If any signs of ignorance are revealed, they will immediately be regarded as your weakness. These people may become the worst teachers. Sometimes for a teacher, the best answer is "I don't know". Acknowledging that you don't know means that you are still learning. On the other hand, Teacher is still a student, and teacher still need to continue to learning.


4. Stop preaching and start listening
When you teach, only by listening attentively can students feel that you really care about them. Effective learning is two-way. It is a conversational dialogue, not a solo play.



5. Avoid educating every student in the same way
Good teachers believe that every student can learn, but they also know that each student has different degrees of learning. Therefore, teachers should adopt a variety of teaching methods to ensure that each student's learning situation.

It's never easy to be a teacher. If you have the chance to be a teacher in the future, I hope that I can not go against what I wrote and become a stepping stone for every student on the road to success.
