Culture Experience: Taiwanese dish
Taiwanese dish are the general name of Taiwan's street food of life and culture. The characteristics of Taiwanese snacks are local materials. Because Taiwan is surrounded by the sea and rich in fisheries, seafood is one of the common street food.
It is not so easy to define Taiwan dish accurately. Maybe we can try to make the following distinctions: in a narrow sense, it only refers to snacks originating in Taiwan, such as pearl milk tea; and because snacks are highly variable, they are easy to break through with the region and time, so in a broad sense, they can also include those that flourish and innovate in Taiwan, wherever they are in Taiwan. Visible and even carry forward the splendid common people's delicacies. And know, let me introduce Taiwanese dish that I like the most.
1. Bubble milk tea
Bubble milk tea, Abbreviated as Tapioca, Boba/Poba milk tea, is the tea beverage originated in Taiwan in 1980s. It is a tea drink for Taiwan bubble black tea and pink tea culture. It has been added to the mellow milk tea. Because of its special taste, it has been widely welcomed and echoed. It has also become one of the most representative drinks and snacks in Taiwan. Over the years, pearl milk tea has been popular from Taiwan to weeks. Border Asian countries and the rest of the world.
2. Stinky tofu
Stinky tofu is one of the snacks of bean products. It is produced by fermentation of tofu and spread to other parts of the world. There are quite different ways of making and eating in different places. The unique smell of stinky tofu makes it one of the foods that many foreigners dare not try.
3. Mango ice
Mango Ice Taiwan is a kind of ice products, different from the traditional ice products, it is added to fresh mango, milk and mango ice cream covered with crushed ice, has the function of cooling and relieving heat. Many traditional ice stores have sold mango ice or all kinds of fruit ice. Unlike mango smoothie, mangoes in mango ice are usually cut into small pieces.
I think that three dishes that you introduced can represent Taiwanese cuisine well! From my perspective, bubble milk tea is the most representative cuisine in Taiwan since it has not only been popular in Asia but also spread around the world.
